Hula girl

Our friends Jeremy & Tiffany just got back from Hawaii and brought Lauren some presents.

She not into reading books yet, just trying to eat them and throw them.

Then she gets upset because she can't get to the things she throws. Hopefully she'll learn soon

This was Laurens first soccer tournament (the first of many). We were super busy having two teams and being down in Portland and it was 80 degrees the whole time. It worked out ok and we didn't have any games overlapping so Jamie & Lauren pretty much just hung out during all the games on the sideline and Joe did all the coaching for us. We also had a lot of parents (on our girls team U-18) that like to steal lauren, so Jamie got some nice breaks and was able to enjoy the sun and the games for a little bit. We were mostly running back and forth to games and then to the hotel all weekend so Lauren didn't get much for naps but I think she did ok, she def liked all the attention she got.

Here is the tent she was in when the sun was out @ the games.

Once the ball went out of bounds hit the bleachers and rolled into her tent, I don't think she even noticed.

Here is Joes boys team (U-11) bus. His assistant coach bought it and fixed it up. You can't miss it driving down I-5. We took this picture as we were driving home from the tourney.

This is when Lauren decided she likes the camera and tries to grab it whenever I get it out. At least it means she is usually looking at the camera when I take a picture.

Still recovering from my cold, you can see some snot in this pic.

And she is FINALLY fitting in to her 6 month old clothes, yeah!

SWIMMIN TIME!

It was finally hot enough to use the watson pool. Or at least hot enough for Lauren. It was 95 degrees out which is HOT for Auburn. She didn't mind the pool, but I wouldn't say she loved it. But look how cute her suit is and its a little to big but the smallest one I could find! with her hair and her size she def has the watson gene.

This is laurens favorite toy.

she especially likes it when you put toys in the tray. even though she usually just tosses them off. this toy has been a lifesaver!!!!!

Prof Pics

So we decided to go and get professional pictures taken and ended up going to JC penneys (long story) anyways Lauren who is usually as happy and as smiley as can be decided not to cooperate. She wasn't crying or upset but she wasn't happy or smiling until AFTER the photo shoot. We went and had lunch after and she was laughing and smilling the whole time. I think she is kind of smiling in one picture. We'll have to try again at 6 months.

This is the biggest smile they got from her.

I think she was hungry which is maybe why she kept trying to eat her bunny.

I don't even know what this one is......

ARIZONA 2008

Went down to Arizona in March 2008.
Lauren was 1.5 months old.
She got to meet her great granparents and everyone in the west family.
She also got to go golfing, ride in a golf cart and go to a mariners game!
