My new ride

Finally found a free day where we could take Lauren to the mall to get her pictures taken (I've been trying to do this for the past 3 months). We won't have the pictures for a few weeks (they aren't very good anyway). But Lauren did fall in love with the strollers there. She had such a blast with the wheel and thinking she was driving, she loved it. Thinking of going to the mall just so she can ride in one again.

Ferry to Bainbridge

So Lauren finally got to go on her first ferry ride on saturday 11/8 @ almost 9 months old. You'll see that she enjoyed it, but she pretty much enjoys everything. We had to go over to Bainbridge Island for Joes boys team game and they won! Can't believe how much it costs to take the ferry, crazy that people take that thing everyday.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
I hope everyone got lots of candy last night. I know we had a great time. Everyone came over to our house for food and then trick or treating. Lauren dressed up as a kangaroo! We took Lauren and Jake & Cameron (who were blue power rangers) trick or treating up and down our block. Lauren was to cute and was actually very well behaved and she even got some candy. At one house they let the kids pick their own candy out of the bowl and we think Lauren was trying to get a yellow bag of M&M's and instead she grabbed the edge of the bowl and tried to take it. She was pretty cute and stayed up until 10:30 which is WAY past her bed time. But everyone had a good time.

Lauren is still growing so much every day. She is now 8.5 months old and finally starting to fit into her 9 months clothes (at least some of them). She talks all day to herself mostly da-da and ma-ma and some random things in between. Today we went to pick up joes truck from the service place and one of the salesmen (that she flirted with) gave her a balloon and she has played with it non-stop since yesturday. She still isn't sleeping through the night and she still loves to play with things that aren't toys like cameras, cords, boxes, bags, phones and anything else she can get her hands on. Shes a quick little bugger.

October 2008 - 8 months old!

Still loves climbing up on EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. Says ma-ma and da-da and ba-ba alot randomly throughout the day and is crawling EVERYWHERE!!!

Still loves shoes, shes is obsessed with shoes and feet. She likes to untie them and then try and stick them in her mouth.

Went to Eloise's 1st birthday party with the big kids, she was the littlest one there but she didn't seem to mind. Makes me appreciate how little she still is.
Went to spooner farms to get pumpkins with the Gadsby's. Today she turned 8 months old!! 10/12/2008

Ok so here is a video of lauren from today. She had just gotten out of the bath and she usually trys to play before I can get clothes on her. I think she'd be naked the whole day if we'd let her. Shes not to fond of diapers either. You can see she gets around pretty easily. Maybe she thinks her clothes slow her down. She might be smarter than we give her credit for.

This will be a good video to embarass her with when she gets older. This is the most I have caught her crawling on tape, I kind of had to trick her into it, long story.

And here is probably my favorite video of her ever. She LOVES playing in the tub as you can see and this book is her new favorite toy. Also from today 9/26/2008 - 7.5 months old.

look what I can do!

We learned lots of new stuff in the past few weeks. Lauren can now say dada and mama and can wave bye bye. She is crawling around everywhere and pulling herself up everywhere which is scary for us. Here are some pictures of some other things she can do now.
Can sit in a highchair all by myself - so much easier for mom & dad. Oh and Lauren loves it as you can see.

Can wear a cute dress and not get it dirty. At least this day she didn't.
Still tries to get the camera though.
Still loves zizou, but doesn't understand whe she wont play with her.

Is lazy like mom & dad so instead of pulling myself up to see whos in my room I just move the padding around my crib. She pretty much does this everyday and it is now not tight around the crib like it used to be.pretty smart though.
TA DA! THis is the first time she pulled herself up. Now she does it everywhere non-stop. Even in the middle of the night if she gets up I'll walk in and she'll be standing there just like this.

Asleep after a long day @ soccer. You can see her favorite toy is there with her (a water bottle) she could play with it for hours. I think for christmas she'll be getting boxes & waterbottles as those are her favorites.
