Lauren is finally ONE!

At Athens for Birthday Dinner (just woke up)
In one of daddys work chairs
w/ daddy at work

For Laurens 1st Birthday we went and visited Daddy at Work in Belfair. It was a long drive but Lauren got to play in daddys office and discovered his box of nutrigrain bars (she loves the wrappers, they make fun noises and are shiny). We also went out to lunch at a mexican restaurant down the street for lunch and then went to Athens for Dinner with the family. She slept through most of dinner but woke up just in time for ice cream which she wouldn't eat.

Her birthday party is this saturday 2/21 @ 1:00 at our house, if anyone is in town please stop by for some cake and ice cream.

Laurens Fort

Finally found some time to put a post on here, its been pretty busy in the watson household with work & soccer. Lauren turns one next week (2/12) , not sure where the time went. She insists on walking everywhere and even tries to walk up the stairs (its interesting) she tries to walk down them too. She can say and wave bye bye, she loves kids and tries to play with all of them. She still loves her cousins and her and Jake are BFF's. She can also turn any room into a pigsty within 10 minutes (as you'll see on the video), I think she gets that from the West side of the family. She LOVES books and makes us read her almost every book she has, she'll have me read one page and then when she thinks I'm done with the page she'll take it over to Joe to have him read the next page and it keeps going back and forth like that for the whole book. She can do that for hours, her favorite books are the thick ones because she can turn the pages herself and she loves the touch and feel books or anything that has mirrors. She loves to look at herself in the mirror and whenever she see's herself she runs to the mirror and kisses herself, she also does this with all her dolls and animals (not sure which side of the family she gets that from, I'm guessing Joe's).
You'll see in the video that she now loves forts, and just running and trying to talk. This video is pretty much how she acts everyday. Oh and she FINALLY got a tooth!!!!!
We are still looking into visiting some family in the next few months and can't wait to visit everyone during the summer. ta ta for now!

Flood & new baby legs

Lauren is still running around like crazy. Shes getting better at going up and down single steps and tries to get into every drawer and cupboard that she can. She insits on walking whenever we go to the store and tries to make friends with everyone. Still no teeth yet, so she can't eat everything we had planned but she is till a pretty picky eater (just like her daddy).
Here she is with her new baby legs - thanks aunt susie!

Baseball or Soccer?.. tough choice!

With her bottle her toys and her tutu, what more could she want.

Ready for bed!
Here are some after pictures of the flood.
You can see the leaf line of where the water was in our front yard!
The entrance to our complex, we had to park in the park behind our house for a day or two until it went down. My car wouldn't make it through.

Lauren = Pele?...

Okay so Lauren is walking everywhere now. We can never get the best video of her because she LOVES the camera so the second she sees it she stops whatever she is doing and runs for it, makes it very difficult to videotape her. In the video below you will see how she was born to play soccer, I swear we didn't teach her to do this she just loves to kick stuff. She was doing it for a good fifteen minutes before we got the camera out but you'll see what happens once she sees it. Time to start her soccer training, its never to early right....
