G&G West Visit

Grandma & Grandpa West came up for a visit from Arizona,

and Lauren wouldn't sit still for a picture (as you can see below).

And of course a Lauren in the box. Had to add this one in, she loves to play with this box, she sits in and loves to put it on her head, here she would lay down and stick her head in it, not so sure why, but its funny & cute! Hopefully I can catch it on video soon!

Wedding Weekend 2009

Had a great weekend full of family friends and weddings.

We only had 3 weddings to attend this whole year and of course 2 of them are on the same day. My awesome friend Mollys wedding took front stage though and we took a few pictures below, I'm hoping/guessing the photographer got better pics than I did! Lauren had fun and way to much energy but made friends with the boys at the wedding.

It was an exhausting day but so much fun and well worth it!

Then once Mollys wedding was over we ran all the way up to Newcastle to make a 10 minute appearance for the very end of our close friends Kurt & Genevas reception.

Lauren still had a ton of energy and ran around there for a little bit to.

Thank Goodenss it was pretty much over when we got there and we left soon after we arrived.

Lauren fell asleep just as we were saying goodbye to everyone and slept the whole way home.

4th of July Weekend!

Had a great 4th of July weekend. We did A LOT of yard work but did get a chance to jump in the Watsons pool and have some fun. It was high 80's-low 90's all weekend, thats is really hot for us, hopefully the sun stays for the rest of the summer!

You can actually see some of her teeth in these pictures she has 5 teeth now, but I'm afraid she'll be gettting more very soon! She'll be 17 months old on July 12th!

At about 10:00 she went over to her stroller and crawled in it and went to sleep. It was really cute and she was so well behaved the whole weekend, shes growing up so fast!

So we have a dancer among us. Laurens new favorite thing is to dance, if she hears any kind of song she dances. Sometimes she just does it for the fun of it and usually to get attention. Shes gotten pretty good at it though!

1st haircut time!

So we finally got Laurens haircut. It was more of a practical hair cut than for beauty since you can see how much her hair gets in her eyes. Plus she wont leave a ponytail in and loves to put her food in her hair, so hopefully getting her hair out of her face will be easier for everyone!
We were going to go to the kids salon on sunday but on our way to fred meyer we walked by great clips and just decided to go in and get it done quick.

As you can see Lauren didn't like that idea.

NOT HAPPY after the haircut, she sat in my lap the whole time and HATED it!

But survived and now doesn't get her hair in her eyes! Yeah!

The good old old Cannery!

Made a visit to the Old Cannery on Monday and Lauren had a blast!

As you can see she LOVES to push the buttons on the trains!

She would have stayed here all day if we had let her!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had some GREAT weather for the memorial day weekend and we had a very busy weekend!

Sunday we had a BBQ at our house and the kids played in the sprinkler, it was laurens first encounter with a sprinkler and she loved it. One time she got upset though because I made her wear a hat and it fell over her eyes and she kept walking in circles in front of the sprinkler and it kept hitting her right in the face, but of course we didn't get that on camera, heres what we did get though.

Monday we went to the zoo and this is the first time she stayed awake through a whole zoo trip!
She loved all the animals especially the big whales ( I think she could see them best).
