Montana 2009

So we FINALLY were able to get some vacation time and get over to Montana, like we used to do all the time. We found a rental house in Superior, MT, which is right on the Montana/Idaho border. It was a huge house right on the river and we were lucky enough to have the rodeo and Mineral County fair going on that same weekend. We didnt get a ton of pictures because Lauren was fussy the whole weekend and I kept leaving the camera at home, but here are a few we did get.

And the last day (the next time we got good pictures) there weren't many since lauren was being a pill, here are a few of the good ones. I think she was upset because she knew she had a 7 hour car ride ahead of her, I guess I dont blame her.

One Leg at a time, kind of...

Everyday Lauren is learning new words and new things. Now thats shes 18 months old she is finally sleeping better and has learned all about time out and what the word no means. She can still get really fussy around people and is going through a pouting phase but we still love her and shes getting better everyday. While we were on vacation in Montana she tried to put her own pants on (as you'll see in the video below) this went on for quite a while but shes still practicing and hopefully well get it figured out soon!

Laurens New bed!

So we are starting to set up Laurens "Big Girl" Room. Its still a work in progress but she loves her bed! She played on it for an hour or two straight! She loves to bounce on it and pretend like shes going to sleep, its too cute! Hopefully she'll really be sleeping in by next year, we'll see!

G&G West Visit

Grandma & Grandpa West came up for a visit from Arizona,

and Lauren wouldn't sit still for a picture (as you can see below).

And of course a Lauren in the box. Had to add this one in, she loves to play with this box, she sits in and loves to put it on her head, here she would lay down and stick her head in it, not so sure why, but its funny & cute! Hopefully I can catch it on video soon!

Wedding Weekend 2009

Had a great weekend full of family friends and weddings.

We only had 3 weddings to attend this whole year and of course 2 of them are on the same day. My awesome friend Mollys wedding took front stage though and we took a few pictures below, I'm hoping/guessing the photographer got better pics than I did! Lauren had fun and way to much energy but made friends with the boys at the wedding.

It was an exhausting day but so much fun and well worth it!

Then once Mollys wedding was over we ran all the way up to Newcastle to make a 10 minute appearance for the very end of our close friends Kurt & Genevas reception.

Lauren still had a ton of energy and ran around there for a little bit to.

Thank Goodenss it was pretty much over when we got there and we left soon after we arrived.

Lauren fell asleep just as we were saying goodbye to everyone and slept the whole way home.

4th of July Weekend!

Had a great 4th of July weekend. We did A LOT of yard work but did get a chance to jump in the Watsons pool and have some fun. It was high 80's-low 90's all weekend, thats is really hot for us, hopefully the sun stays for the rest of the summer!

You can actually see some of her teeth in these pictures she has 5 teeth now, but I'm afraid she'll be gettting more very soon! She'll be 17 months old on July 12th!

At about 10:00 she went over to her stroller and crawled in it and went to sleep. It was really cute and she was so well behaved the whole weekend, shes growing up so fast!
