Puyallup Fair 9/2010

Our little Lauren is growing up, this is the very first ride she has ever gone on by herself.

She is barely tall enough, in fact she is just below the line, good thing they dont check them that well. But as you can see she loved it!

Connor - The HULK

So not many people believe that Connor has been pulling himself up and trying to walk and he is only five months old. Well here is proof! Not the best video since he was like a foot away from the camera but he pulls himself up on everything and now tries to turn and walk, only catch is he can't walk yet. Pretty sure thats coming next and he may be walking before he is 6 months old, rediculous! Guess he wants to start training for Team USA earlier than we had planned.

Ronald & Sounders

This past weekend we went with the Watsons to a cabin in Ronald, WA, where is ronald you ask?... Its right next to Roslyn. Here are some good pics we got on the trip.
Hiking by Salmon la Sac - Family pic by the river
amazed that everyone is almost looking at the camera,
best family picture yet (sad)
Grandma Patti w/ Connor - Who absolutely LOVED the hike!

Lauren & Joe with the hiking backpack - a lifesaver for us all!

Connor playing at the cabin - yes he is only 5 months old and he is pulling himself up and trying to walk behind a walker. Lots of head bonks in our immediate future.

You can kind of see him standing up on me in this pic

They had a lot of kids toys at the cabin and lauren found her calling - a makeup table, she did everyones makeup at least twice, oh what joy. Here she is using mommys eyelash curler.

Sounders GAME - Joe got some suite tickets through work
We had a great time but I think Lauren liked the free popcorn the best!

She also loved her scarf as you can see.

Wedding in July

And I almost forgot to post pictures from Leslie (Joes sister) & Michaels wedding.
Here is connor in his pre-wedding outfit
Lauren didnt make it down the aisle by herself, she had a rough morning.
& Joe had to hold her through the ceremony to.

But Connor was good the whole day! or as good as he can be.
He had on a whole suit with a vest & tie, but they
kind of turned into chew toys instead of part of his outfit.

Then Lauren finally came out of her shell at the reception and loved playin gon the rocks outside.

Final wedding of the summer (The Hedricks)

So we had another wedding this past weekend that all of us were in, including Connor but he didn’t walk down the aisle with us (thank you grandma Patti for watching him). Lauren was the highlight of the day! We learned our lesson at Aunt Leslies wedding oh how to get her to walk down the aisle, at Leslies everyone was talking to her and she froze up and we (Joe) had to carry her down the aisle and through the ceremony. So for Jeremy & Tiffany’s wedding we practiced throwing flowers non-stop before the ceremony and kept her going all the way until we actually went down the aisle. She made it to the chairs and threw the first petals behind the chairs (we had been "practicing" there so I think she thought that was what we were doing) once we re-directed her to the aisle she threw them down and the proceeded to stand next to me for the ceremony. For about 5 minutes when she started to KICK her flower bucket, so I picked her up for a bit until I thought she was calmer. Then she stood there for a minute and then proceeded to throw and kick her flower bucket into the bushes about 15 feet off to the side of the ceremony, she then came back and stood next to me. I guess she was done with the flowers and didn’t want the bucket anymore?... Who knows what goes through her head sometimes.

More wedding pictures to come soon.....
