Another Babylegs Photoshoot

Back in August I got a call from babylegs asking if they could use Lauren in another photoshoot, I said sure but I need to find someone to watch Connor my 4.5 month old. They were excited to hear he was crawling and wanted me to bring him too! So off we went to Seattle for the day, im hoping the kids are happy and well behaved, last time Lauren was super shy and wouldnt interact with them much. Well this time Lauren got her first outfit on and she was crazy/fun lauren the whole time. She was really well behaved but she kept wanting to jump off stuff and stack chairs and when they asked her to show them her babylegs she kept flipping her dress up and saying they're right there! I thought it was super cute, I dont think the photograpers felt the same way. So we didnt get to many "great" pictures of Lauren like last time, and Im wondering if they'll invite us back.

Now it was Connor (Bubbas) turn.

They were shocked he was just 4.5 months old and crawling! So all the clothes they had were WAY to big except for one sheriff/cowboy boot outfit. I go to put him out there and they say just let him sit for a bit, then I had to say oh he cant really sit up by himself yet, once again they are shocked and not sure what to do. Not many babies crawl before they can sit (ours does!). So pretty much he just crawled around and I dont think they got the best shots of him either, but oh well! Guessing we wont be called back for next years photoshoot!

I think this may be the best one they got, we'll see if they use it.

I think its cute, but I may be biased.

Lauren the Gymnast

Despite both kids having a cold this week thank goodness Lauren felt good enough to go to her first gymnastics class last night. She was so excited and even before we left she was "calling" everyone and invited them to come watch her. Then when we got there she was even more excited she of course wanted to go play with the big girls that were flipping and jumping off the big stuff, but she still had fun running around the little course they had set up for the little kids.
She wasnt to excited about her coach to begin with but towards the end of class she agreed to go home and practice and come back next week. Lauren thinks its school, so shell say I went to school or need to go to school. Wonder what shell think when she actually goes to real school.

HALLOWEEN 2010

Its taken me a bit to get these up because Lauren & COnnor are both SICK!

They had 103 temps all halloween weekend and now they both are super congested, were going to the DRs AGAIN today to hopefully resolve it all. But guessing it will take a few more days for them to fully recover. Even with the sickies we still had a fun halloween weekend. Everyone came over for food and trick or treating at our house.

Pumpkin Picking Time #2

A week ago we went up to The Clarks (Joans Parents) Annual Pumpkin Picking party!

The kids loved it and Lauren once again picked a little pumpkin,

she hates the big ones because she cant carry them.

She also played with the kids and got really excited

for the tractor and pony rides but got scarred of both of them at the last minute.

Guess shes not a farm girl.

Connor tried to eat grass (Once again) and drooled on everything.

She can ride by herself but she prefers to be pushed.

Happy October!

Happy OCTOBER!

Its been a very busy month for us, Connor is 7 months old now and is walking behind a walker and gettting into everything, hell be walking on his own in a week or so. He has escaped from almost everything we put up to block him with and he tries to squeeze between anything, even if he doesnt fit, hes a very determined/stubborn little guy. Lauren is growing up to fast and loves helping around the house, of course she has her other days where she likes to sit in her room by herself - at least she likes her room now though.

So this may make me a bad parent but Lauren loves to help out. She likes to do laundry, help bag groceries, clean and pretty much anything we do she wants to help. So she decided she wanted to feed connor and poor guy I decided to let her. She actually isnt that bad at it, but no I dont let her feed him every meal. But she is starting to actually be a very good helper.
