GARAGE SALE AND SWIMMING FUN!

This month has been full of summer fun. Lots of pool/sprinkler time and playing in the sun.

Joe is still recovering so we've stayed pretty close to home but we've caught up on lots of family time and cartoons!

We had a garage sale last saturday and Connor is our best little helper!

He just HAD to help out so I got him his own spray bottle of water and some paper towels.

He went around spraying stuff (kind of) and wiping it off.

Lauren is still pretty reluctant to try anything new but is slowly learning to swim (thanks uncle michael), I think it may be a 2 year learning process.  She hates getting water on her face and is pretty much terrified to let go of her floaties and try it on her own. But shes still our little helper around the house and with Connor and  she starts preschool next month! That'll be interesting!

July 21st 2011

Well not much has been going on this month, mostly just laying low and helping Joe to recover from his surgery.  Connor is getting into everything as usual and being his crazy fun self and Lauren is growing up so fast, she is super excited for preschool and loves to draw, paint and read books.  Hope we get to hang out with everyone a little more before summer ends now that Joe is feeling better!

Here is a picture of Connor at the Chiropractor, he loves it and we think its made a huge difference with him and his sleeping, etc...  then later the same day he got his finger stuck in a cabinet and ripped half the skin off (poor bubba).

On a more positive note Lauren now knows how to ride her bike, except when she gets tired she says we have to stop because shes out of gas. Love them! 

And our 5 year wedding anniversary is on friday, can't believe how much has happened since then. 

   

It's been a while and we've been very busy. Had the last 2 weeks off to take care of Joe after his surgery so the kids and I got to have a few fun trips out and about and got to enjoy the sun before I had to go back to work. Thank you to everyone for all of your help these last few weeks, Joe is finally on the road to recovery and doing much better!!!

Laurens Last Soccer Game

Laurens first soccer season was "interesting"..... After watching this video you will see why we have decided to put her olympic training on hold a year or so. She would never go very far from us on the field (court) so this game we put her cousin Jake out there to see if that would make her feel more comfortable.

SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE!!! Hopefully it stays for a while.

Lauren is totally in charge and Connor totally doesnt care. As you can see. She tries to tell him (and everyone else) what to do and he does whatever he wants. Pretty entertaining.

Sorry it took me a while to get some of these videos up but the video function has been down on this site for the past week or so. Going to get caught up and post lots today as Joe is finally having his surgery tomorrow. He goes in super early and were guessing it will take 4-6 hours and then he should be in the hospital for 3-4 days, this is all depending on how well/quickly he recovers etc... He'll be a Northwest Hospital (by Northgate) and I will text everyone updates and room #, etc throughout the next few days, but I'll have e-mail on my phone too. Please send happy thoughts and prayers our way tomorrow!

This is why Lauren no longer gets makeup for presents. It started out being cute and turned into a mess of pink and glitter stuff everywhere.

The Watsons - June 14th 2011

Our great friends Lindsay (Jewett) and Neil are getting married this weekend

and last weekend they had their rehearsal dinner where their photographer got some

great pictures of the kids. Thank you guys for the great pics -

we are so behind in getting their pictures taken, these are awesome.

Connor is still working on saying new words and has been so great lately - he can now say backpack, eat and bye. Lauren is still working on playing soccer (with others) and not being so shy but she loves to help out around the house and try and make her brother dance with her.
