July 9th!

Yesterday (July 9th) was a big day for us! The kids had their first full Montessori school day (Lauren in Kindergarten / Connor in preschool) and they both loved it! We were on their waiting list since February and we are so glad they finally got in - I've already seen a lot of great progress with both of them!  Connor is the staff's favorite - they say he is the sweetest most polite kid they have ever had and Lauren has already made about 5 new friends (this is a big deal for her, not everyone makes the cut) and watches over her brother like the best big sister ever, so proud of them both!

THEN AFTER SCHOOL/WORK

We went to the Watson's for dinner and Lauren decided to swim without her floaties!

And if that wasn't enough we got home and Connor pooped on the potty! 

He has been #1 trained for a few months but this is the first #2 progress! What a day!!!

Connors Jazz Dance

Poor Connor, this is what happens when you have a bossy older sister. 

He is such a sweetheart for playing with her like this and 

we will be playing this video at his wedding someday!

Laurens Preschool Graduation

 Lauren is now in KINDERGARTEN! She is in a summer school program now and will start "real" school in the fall. She graduated last friday from preschool and here are some pictures from that day.

 

She still loves to play dressup and sometimes insists on wearing her princess crown no matter what!

Here are some fun things we did last month

PUYALLUP SPRING FAIR!

This was the first ride they went on all by themselves together!

Connor was so excited he was about an inch taller than the line to ride the kids rids - I told him to stand behind his sister in line, which he did very well by holding on to her tight the whole time.  

 This was Connors favorite ride - the motorcycles!

 Back at home....... 

Having a sister is rough, especially when she likes to put you in Cinderella dresses 

and dance with her - this is a weekly occurrence in our house.

 Last weekend Lauren got to take the train with Daddy down to Portland for 

Audrey's b-day party, since mommy was stuck at school - 

we thought she would love it. She did not agree 

and said it was to long and to boring, oh-well.
