Made a visit to the Old Cannery on Monday and Lauren had a blast!

As you can see she LOVES to push the buttons on the trains!

She would have stayed here all day if we had let her!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had some GREAT weather for the memorial day weekend and we had a very busy weekend!

Sunday we had a BBQ at our house and the kids played in the sprinkler, it was laurens first encounter with a sprinkler and she loved it. One time she got upset though because I made her wear a hat and it fell over her eyes and she kept walking in circles in front of the sprinkler and it kept hitting her right in the face, but of course we didn't get that on camera, heres what we did get though.

Monday we went to the zoo and this is the first time she stayed awake through a whole zoo trip!
She loved all the animals especially the big whales ( I think she could see them best).

At the BBQ she showed off her water bottle skills, still a little messy but shes working on it.

these boots were made for walking!

Laurens "new" thing is to take off and put on shoes. If you leave your shoes where she can get them she WILL put them on and try and walk around. Here she is with daddys work boots.

And here is grandpa Jims house almost finished with all the new siding and paint and entrance, just waiting on the doors, etc... Looks SO good!

We finally got some really nice weather and ventured outside a few times.

Here are some random pictures from the last few weeks.

Here is Lauren at our last soccer game helping coach from behind the bench. She actually was very good at organizing water bottles and handing them to the girls when they came off, so I guess she is more of a water girl than a coach.

We finally got some sun over the past few weeks, so we pulled out the bike and went for a ride along the river. Here she is helping daddy fix her seat and pump up the tires. Her hat is up like that because she tried to pull it off, which she does to every hat and hair thing I put on her. We now know to get hats with straps if we want them to stay on for more than a minute.
Here is a video of what Lauren does pretty much every day. She runs around and dances and says bye all the time! She usually says bye baby or bye zizou, i think her babies and zizou are her favorite things. She hugs and kisses them all the time, I think zizou puts up with it because lauren also gives her half of her snacks and sometimes her dinner. Hopefully she'll learn some new words soon!
